Meet the Makers Market

Port of Sale, Wellington Centre | Thursday 5 December 2019 | 4.00pm to 7.00pm

Buy locally made art, local produce and books direct from the makers. Enjoy live music featuring local artists Mary Buckley on harp and singer songwriter Olivia Lay. This is a great chance to meet the creative people behind the fantastic range of local wares available all year at the Port of Sale.

Musicians Mary Buckley and Olivia Lay are delighted to be playing at the Port of Sale for Meet the Makers. Mary plays lilting lullabies and rearranged melodies of familiar tunes in a Celtic folk style on the harp. Mary graduated with a Bachelor of Music at Victoria University in 2017. Olivia is a 19-year-old singer songwriter from Sale. She is known for playing intricate instrumental guitar pieces and recently won the Regional Battle of the Bands Competition. Olivia has played guitar for most of her life and takes inspiration from artists such as Newton Faulkner and John Butler.
