The Art of the George Gray Centre is the next instalment in the community-favourite presentation from the Gippsland Art Gallery and The George Gray Centre Inc. This year sees 16 local artists come together to present almost 50 bright and colourful works that are sure to make your day!
The exhibition is a celebration of life expressed through the eyes of artists: Tim Costello, Jenene Egan, Gemma Eggleston, Josh Gray, Justin Henry, Marianna Howson, Kelly Jenkins, Hurley Johnstone, Debra Kleefsman, Marcie McGill, Anne Manion, Georgie Manton, Sab Penny, Brianna Sinclair, Sharon Watkinson, and John Wright. Contributing a multitude of works, these artists have developed skills in a variety of mediums including painting, plaster and wood.
The George Gray Centre Inc. provides a day service and supported employment service for adults with a disability who live in the Wellington Shire.
The organisation is committed to providing programs based on individual needs, focusing on enhancing personal development, increasing independence and promoting community inclusion.
The group of artists featured in this exhibition are participating in a facilitated Art Studio program at the George Gray Centre Inc.
